We Couldn’t Resist a BBQ.

If you were lucky enough to go to camp as a child, then you understand the many great experiences they offer.  Unfortunately, not every kid has the opportunity to spend a week or so surrounded by new friends and good times.  Special Love and the R&W Foundation recently held a barbeque to raise funds to send children with cancer to camp.  After all, what goes better with food and fun than a good cause?  Long Fence and Home was happy to sponsor the Camp Fantastic BBQ this year and help entertain everyone who attended.

Free Film Festival Benefits NIH Children Charities

Comcast announces the launch of its free 14th Annual Outdoor Film Festival for friends and family to enjoy food and outdoor movies.  The film festival shows a variety of different genre movies enjoyable for all ages.

Presented by 97.1 WASH-FM, Long Fence and Home, along with other local companies (Mattress Warehouse, Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union, Regency Furniture, Harris Teeter, Montgomery College, Geico Direct, Suntrust Bank), help sponsor the week-long event located on the grounds of The Universities of Shady Grove at 9630 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville, MD 20850.  Although all movies begin at 8:10 p.m., attendees are encouraged arrive when the gates open at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy food and snacks where proceeds benefit the NIH (National Institute of Health) Children’s Charities.
