Creating Custom WindowsJuly 22, 2010Not all windows are created equal. Sure you can find windows that work well enough for your home with relative ease, but nothing beats the aesthetics and performance of a window created specifically for your home. This video shows how Long Windows and Serious Materials partner to offer our clients windows created for their specific needs.
My favorite shot in this video is after the large sheet of glass drops on to the conveyor to be cut and then is separated into various sizes by simply applying pressure. The technology is relatively simple, but it works without scratching, cracking or otherwise contributing to imperfections in the glass. For a factory that ships out numerous truck loads of windows each day, the ability to quickly cut glass into customized sections is imperative. Stay tuned to the blog to learn more about our replacement windows. The next video will cover why we use krypton gas as an insulation agent. Leave a Comment |
